Marziano Abbona
Piedmont, Italy
The strength of tradition and the taste for innovation. The knowledge of our roots and the courage to take a new road. The passion of artisan work and the search for quality without compromise. For three generations, the Abbona cellars have made great wines of the Langhe, striving to express the most important emotions: love for our work, and gratitude that we live in one of the most extraordinary wine territories in the world.
The winery owes what it is today to the efforts and values of Celso, father of Marziano Abbona. He passed down his respect for the land, his meticulous, scrupulous work ethics, and his pride for his roots.
He handed down a heritage that Marziano Abbona and his daughters Mara and Chiara live intuitively today. Their passion and dedication continue to help produce high quality wines that are exported around the world.

Mainente
Soave, Veneto Italy
Located in the heart of Soave, the Corte Mainente winery has devoted itself to the production of quality wines since 1939, when Virgilo Mainente purchased the farm where the estate is located today.
Until the 1950s, they lived by producing wine and various products of the land such as corn and wheat, and typical farm animals such as cattle and pigs were also raised. The wine produced was sold to private individuals and in local taverns.
From the 1950s, Mainente pivoted to focus exclusively on the production of wine and in particular Soave Classico. The first major winery investments date back to these years, such as the construction of concrete tanks that are still used today.
In the 1960’s, Virgilio’s son, Ugo graduated in Oenology at the Conegliano oenological school and, since then, has put all his passion and professionalism into elevating the quality of their ultra premium table wines. Ugo recognised the importance of showcasing authentic Soave classico depending on its provenance i.e whether it was grown in the Western part of the classico zone with its limestone dominant soils resulting in more fruit forward wines, or the Eastern vineyards near Monteforte d’Alpone, with its volcanic soils that tend to produce steelier wines. Today, Ugo’s sons, Marco and Davide continue the tradition and take great pride in sustainable farming and guiding the fruit from vineyard to bottling. In every bottle we get a real sense of the beauty and flavour of the hills of Soave.
