Steven and Natalie Worley have produced small parcels of Shiraz and Nebbiolo from 2 carefully selected Victorian sites since 2003. Steve tossed in his career as an exploration geologist in 2001 to study viticulture and oenology. This was a long held dream of applying his love of earth science to the crafting of exclusive batches of premium wine from special sites. Focus in the vineyard and minimal intervention in the winery ensure these wines tell a real story of provenance.
Incidentally the arm is Steven’s.

merrifolk is a range of wines inspired by our local community and urban landscape.
During 2020 we found time to be a little more creative. We’d had so much fun working with friend and artist Hannah Fox on our Merri reserve wine that we decided to develop an entirely new collection - merrifolk.
Hannah has painted original artworks for us that express through palette and texture the personality of the three new wines that we have crafted.
The wines themselves inspired by local landmarks much appreciated by many in our community. Community has a vibe and each of these buildings or businesses have a history not only in their bones but via the people that move through them that has made our local neighbourhood such a vibrant and happy place for us. We have crafted these wines with a very natural approach and they each have lively personalities that will pair perfectly with hearty conversation and fun!
